Trafalgar Square hosted an extraordinary installation honouring a national treasure - tea. The London landmark was eclipsed by a display of all the tea you can drink. Or to be precise, all the tea you'll ever drink... 74,802 cups. So, with 150 millions cups of tea consumed in Britain a day it's a good thing that as well as being delicious and natural, the nation's favourite is a great choice for a refreshing drink.

While we've always been a nation of tea worshippers, these days we have good reason to take a tea break! For example, did you know tea is the biggest supplier of flavonoid anti-oxidants in the UK diet? Plus, an average cup of tea with semi-skimmed milk typically contains just 14 Calories. Another little known fact is tea's hydrating qualities - scientists rate it second only to water.

Other benefits of the brew have long been suspected, but now we have evidence. A study by Oxford University and Unilever has shown what we all knew - tea does actually help us feel more relaxed, yet alert. Plus, throw the amino acid theanine (the amount found in 2-3 cups of black PG tips tea) into the mix - with all the other goodies in PG tips tea and you'll find it easier to focus on your day to day activities.

The Tea-Stunt installation was created to feature in a Channel 4 programme about the Human Footprint - a unique film that reveals, in a series of remarkable stunts, what makes up an average human life in Britain today.
